HAT MAKING WORKSHOP — SYDNEY 🧢
Learn how to make your own 5 panel hat from start to finish in a small group workshop. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the hat making process including cutting, construction and sewing your own custom hat to take home with you.

BRING YOUR OWN MATERIALS: (OPTIONAL)
• You’re welcome to bring along your own garments or fabrics to use throughout the workshop if preferred.
• More sturdy materials are recommended where possible, as they’re generally easier to work with during the hat making process.
• If bringing your own sewing machine, a zipper foot attachment is recommended for sewing closer to the brim edges.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
• Suitable for all skill levels with guidance provided throughout the workshop.
• Whether you’re completely new to sewing or already have experience behind a machine, this workshop is designed to give people the opportunity to learn the hat making process in a relaxed small group environment.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
• Leichhardt North Light Rail Station is located approximately a 5 minute walk from the studio.
• Bus routes 437, 440 & 445 also run from the city with approximately a 15 minute trip to the studio location.
PARKING:
• Street parking available nearby where possible.
IMPORTANT INFO:
• A limited number of sewing machines will be available for those who need one. If you’ll require a machine for the workshop, please reach out beforehand so we can organise setup accordingly. If you already own a sewing machine, it would definitely help to bring it along on the day if possible.
• Basic tools and equipment will be provided throughout the workshop, however if you already own sewing tools, sewing thread or equipment, it would definitely help to bring them along aswell.
• We’ll take a short lunch/snack break throughout the workshop if needed, so feel free to bring along your own lunch or snacks for the day. Small refreshments will also be provided.
• Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can setup all the machines and be ready to start at 10am.
• The studio space is booked for the whole day, so there’ll be extra time available for anyone wanting a little longer to finish or continue working on their hat if needed.
• Tickets are non-refundable unless event is cancelled.
• A PDF confirming your spot in the workshop will be emailed after purchase.
