Before this, I was breaking my back in a warehouse. Forty hours a week doing a job I hated for a pay cheque that barely felt worth it. I knew there had to be another way but I didn't know what it was yet.
Then I found sewing.
What started as something to fill the time became an obsession. I started making hats, cutting up old clothes, reworking deadstock fabric, turning things people had thrown away into something completely new. Every piece was different. Every piece told its own story.
Two years later High Sewciety has over 190,000 followers, hundreds of hats sold, and a series of Nike shoe sets that have been seen by millions of people around the world. I've gone from a warehouse to doing what I love every single day.
High Sewciety isn't a brand built on trends or mass production. Every piece is cut and constructed by hand. When it sells out it's gone because there was only ever one.
I'm living proof that you can build something real from nothing. Not because it was easy but because I was willing to put in the work and refused to stop. Whatever your dream is, the only thing standing between you and it is the decision to start.
